Instructions (16 steps)

Carefully peel husks from corn, keeping them whole. Select 16 large husks and set aside

Soak husks in hot water until pliable

Cut kernels from corn cobs, then grate them using a box grater

Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat

Add onions and 1/2 tsp salt, cook until softened and translucent

In a large bowl, combine grated corn, Cooked onion mixture, remaining butter, milk, basil, remaining salt, and pepper
