Instructions (10 steps)

Bring water, butter, sugar, and salt to boil.

Remove from heat, add flour all at once. Stir vigorously.

Let cool 5 minutes. Beat in eggs one at a time.

Transfer dough to piping bag with star tip.

Heat oil to 375°F in deep pan.

Pipe 6-inch strips directly into hot oil.

Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
