Red kidney beans
cooked or canned

Coconut milk

Garlic

Instructions (8 steps)

Sauté onion and garlic in oil until soft and fragrant.

Add beans with their liquid. Stir well.

Add coconut milk, water, thyme, whole habanero, salt, pepper.

Bring to boil. Add rice and stir once.

Reduce heat to low, cover tightly. Don't stir.

Cook 25 minutes until rice tender and liquid absorbed.
